Call us today at 515-231-0812 to schedule an appointment for a FREE trial session. You will learn CrossFit's definition of fitness and try out a WOD (workout of the day). This introductory session will give you a taste of the Kool-Aid, but if you want to get a greater understanding of the CrossFit program, our methods, and philosophy it is recommended that you read the articles Foundations and What is Fitness.
Once you are ready to commit you will then go through our 3 hour Fundamentals course. You will learn the basic CrossFit movements, technique and standards and will be educated in our nutrition program. We hold group classes from 2-5pm on Sundays or you can setup a private session at a time that works for you.
After you complete the fundamentals class you can then get started with unlimited training! We know that real results come from real work and it is recommended that you train 4-6 times per week, follow our nutrition guidelines, and make a committment towards a better, healthier Y-O-U!
DO NOT be intimidated... CrossFit workouts are scaled and modified to meet the needs of each individual and at CrossFit Ames there is a variety of levels in each class. We check our egos at the door and see to it that everyone is working out with intensity relative to their ability. We can and do train ANYONE and we will see to it that EVERYONE will become more "Cross"Fit!
