CrossFit Ames classes are cancelled on Thursday due to weather and school closings. The drifts at the barn were pretty deep yesterday and it's not worth someone getting stuck or even worse sliding out onto the highway.
AT HOME WOD:
Make up your own equipment free WOD. Be creative and post to comments what you did!
Laura has been hitting it hard with CrossFit, Zone eating and some running on the side since December 1st and has lost 12 pounds, feels great and is finding that this stuff really works! Keep up the great work!
Nice lockouts on the jumping ring dips and great timing on the power cleans!

So frustrated to have to cancel class and miss a training day. We did that Monday night in anticipation of a 'blizzard' but we didn't get it near as bad a projected...rrrrr. Enjoy the rest!

I am working out tonight with my class at 5:30. I have about 30 or so cards with different exercises on them, we are just blindly picking 4 cards and doing 3 rounds. I thought I would let them help plan the evil!

Travis, that is a great idea! We did a hopper style WOD a few months ago and may be due up to do one again soon! They are fun! Let us know how yours goes!

nice idea with the cards trav. today i ran a 5k then did a ladder program someone told me about. (it is actually different than what i told you leigh ann. after talking to him again it made more sense)
i did the following
pullups pushups situps
1 2 3 round 1
4 5 6 round 2
7 8 9 "
10 9 8 "
7 6 5 "
4 3 2 "

it was pretty tough after a 5k. hope everyone else got a good one in.
