REST DAY
OR
100 PUSHUPS FOR CLUB 3000!
Remember, the pushups don't have to be consecutive or timed. Work hard on the best form possible! Straight backs, tight abs, chest to deck, locked out elbows at the top... NO KNEES!
Constantly varied high intensity functional movement (the stimulus) elicits unprescedented increases in work capacity across broad time and modal domains (the response).
Need proof? Doug did 1/2 reps on Booch's Ladder in May and finished in 45 minutes... he did the whole workout yesterday with more weight than last time and finished in 50 minutes!!! He did significantly more work in significanlty less time! Pretty cool!

Way to go Dad! Looking good!

Just finished my 100 pushups. Did 10 at a time throughout the day which doesn't seem hard at all. I'm feeling stronger on them already :) But I'm starting to get carpal tunnel symptoms on my right hand... might start doing them all on dumbbells so my wrists can stay in neutral.
300 down... 2700 to go!

I'm proud of you, Uncle Doug :) I also did my 100 pushups for the day!

Leigh Ann - you could order the "perfect push-up" handles that are advertised on tv! Only 39.95 + shipping. Michael and I actually saw them at Costo a few weeks back and I busted out a few pushups in the aisle to try them out.

Way to go on the pusups guys!
Kristi, that's cool that your group is joining the 3000 club!!! I hope they stick with it! Take a picture of them each doing pushups individually and I'm going to make a poster with everyone's pictures on it who completes the challenge.
I should get those perfect pushups things. I'm sure it would be exactly what I need to get stronger AND I'm sure I'll have an amazingly ripped body after using them :) That extra little rotation thing they do must be the magical little part that does the trick! hehe! Actually I think I'll go the no frills route and stick with the dumbbells :)

Did max back squat
1-1-1-1-1-1-1
Did not do well! PR is 180 but couldn't get 165 that day!! Very frustrating. I just worked on my form using 135#. Not happy :(
